2002 Hall of Christian Excellence
Since 1986, the Hall of Christian Excellence is our
Department's way of recognizing outstanding laymen. Every General
Assembly, laymen have been chosen from all over the U.S., honoring their
work for Christ and his church. Their names are literally in a
"hall" in the International Offices of the Church of God.
For 2002, we partnered with Women's
Ministries to expand the Hall to include outstanding women as
well. On Monday of the 2002 General Assembly, their names and
photographs were shown to the entire Assembly during the evening
service. We'd like to share that slide presentation to you, in
addition to recognizing these outstanding lay people. You can use
